On February 28 – March 4 this year, representatives of the World Bank and Joint-PIU specialists took part at the working trip to Ferghana Valley. During the trip, the delegation visited Fergana, Andijan and Namangan regions.
The participants of the visit took part at the capacity building activities of the Community Participatory Monitoring Committee in “Kurik” MCA of Yangikurgan district, “Birlashgan” MCA of Pop district in Namangan region, they had conversation with representatives of the rural population which was held in a warm atmosphere. The relevant specialists answered their questions. Representatives of Temporary MDU were answered the questions about the deadlines of selected subprojects implementation.
The next meeting was held in “Tinchlik” MCA of Chust district of Namangan region. Representatives of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development, CEED (Bulgaria)/ ”Rythm Plus” consulting company (Uzbekistan) took part in organizing meetings with the citizens of Namangan region in addition to the Facilitating Partners. Representatives of “Tinchlik” MCA citizens and members of the Temporary MDU told the World Bank specialists about the conducted community mobilization process.
In Fergana region, representatives of the World Bank and Joint-PIU specialists took part at the event devoted to studying the opinions and proposals of the citizens on the purpose of working out the Qishloq Development Plan within the community mobilization process in “Yuldoshobod” MCA of Kushtepa district and “Gaston” MCA of Yazyavan region.
In Andijan region they visited “Sohil” MCA of Pakhtaabad district to see the progress of construction works of the new modern school for 264 pax, as well as took part at the event devoted to studying the opinions and proposals of the citizens on the purpose of working out the Qishloq Development Plan within the community mobilization process in “Akhillik” MCA of Pakhtaabad district.
Also, they met with the “Single Customer Service” (SCS) Engineering Company and representatives of the Khokimiyat of Namangan, Ferghana and Andijan regions.
