The “Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development – Bulgaria”(CEED Bulgaria) has launched a project titled “Functionally Sustainable Migration and Integration in Bulgaria”. The project is implemented in partnership with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and with the financial support of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria (MOI).
The activities planned for the implementation of the project include:
- Project management
- Visibility, transparency, and communication
- Advocacy and integration
- Encouraging employers in Bulgaria to hire third-country nationals (TCNs)
- Integrating migrant communities through the promotion of employment opportunities
- Developing an online platform for labor migration
Additionally, the following activities will be carried out:
- Research on the attitudes of employers and migrant communities, with special focus on their awareness and integration.
- Development of a guide for employers.
- Conducting analytical and expert activities to gain a deeper understanding of migration processes.
The project’s goal is to support and encourage legal migration by providing information about opportunities in third countries. This will be achieved through:
- The creation of an online platform for labor migration of third-country nationals (TCNs) to Bulgaria.
- The implementation of a large-scale information campaign in Moldova, Albania, Armenia, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
The platform will aim to connect employers in Bulgaria with third-country nationals seeking employment, while also providing information on the following topics:
- Administrative and legal procedures for employment and legal migration
- Social and legal support for migrants
- Online events and opportunities for connecting with migrant communities
- Practical tips for successful integration and legal migration in Bulgaria
