"Functionally Sustainable Migration and Integration in Bulgaria"

The “Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development – Bulgaria” (CEED Bulgaria) has launched a project titled “Functionally Sustainable Migration and Integration in Bulgaria”. The project is implemented in partnership with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and with the financial support of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria (MOI).

Project Description:

The project aims to create an online platform to facilitate labor migration for third-country nationals (TCNs) to Bulgaria. The platform will connect employers in Bulgaria with migrants seeking employment and will provide valuable information about administrative and legal procedures for labor employment and legal migration. Additionally, it will offer resources for social and legal assistance, organize online events, support connections with migrant communities, and provide practical advice for successful migration and integration in Bulgaria. As part of the project, a large-scale information campaign will be carried out in Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Albania, and Vietnam, aiming to promote the platform and inform potential migrants about employment and integration opportunities in Bulgaria.

Main Objectives:

The project aims to support legal migration by providing information on opportunities in Bulgaria and assist in the successful integration of migrants by:
Encouraging employers in Bulgaria to hire third-country nationals (TCNs).
Stimulating labor employment and integration of migrant communities.
Creating an online platform for labor migration of TCNs to Bulgaria.
Conducting a large-scale information campaign in Moldova, Albania, Armenia, Ukraine, and Vietnam.

Additional Activities:

Conducting research on the attitudes of employers and migrant communities, with a focus on their awareness and integration.
Developing a guide for employers.
Undertaking analytical and expert activities to gain a deeper understanding of migration processes.

Expected Results:

Simplified administrative and legal procedures for labor employment and legal migration.
Provision of social and legal assistance for migrants.
Opportunities for connecting with migrant communities.
Creation of conditions for successful integration and legal migration to Bulgaria.

The total project value is 681,121.34 BGN, with financial support from the EU amounting to 510,841.01 BGN.
