Within the framework of the working visit to Armenia, experts from the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development – Bulgaria (CEED Bulgaria), together with representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), held a meeting with the leadership of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia. The discussions were attended by the Union’s Vice Presidents, Armen Nersisyan and Neres Karamanukyan, as well as representatives of the organization.

The meeting focused on presenting the “Functionally Sustainable Migration and Integration in Bulgaria” (FUMI in Bulgaria) project and the opportunities offered by the BGJobs online platform, developed to connect Bulgarian employers with job seekers from third countries.

During the meeting, Stanislav Chervenkov, Executive Director of CEED Bulgaria, presented the project’s objectives and highlighted the role of the BGJobs platform as an effective tool for addressing labour shortages in Bulgaria by creating direct connections between employers and potential employees.

The participants discussed opportunities to promote the platform among employers, professional organizations, and job seekers in Armenia, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation between the partner organizations. Particular attention was given to engaging organizations operating in the fields of human resources and labour mobility to support the dissemination of information about the project and the upcoming online information events.

The discussion also addressed the current challenges facing the labour market and the need for sustainable mechanisms to attract qualified professionals to Bulgaria. Representatives of the Armenian organization expressed their interest in the initiative and their willingness to promote the project among their members and partner networks.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and reaffirmed the shared commitment of CEED Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia to strengthening their cooperation in support of business development, labour mobility, and sustainable economic growth.
