On December 9th, a regular team meeting for the project “Functionally Sustainable Migration and Integration in Bulgaria” (FSMI in Bulgaria) financed under the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund was held. Representatives from the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development – Bulgaria (CEED Bulgaria) and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) participated in the meeting.
The project aims to enhance cooperation and information exchange between Bulgaria and non-EU countries, with key partners including Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Albania, and Vietnam.
Through this project, valuable human resources are expected to be attracted, laying the foundation for sustainable development. A significant focus is the creation of an online labor migration platform called the “BG job matching portal for international recruitment.”
During the meeting, the action plan for the coming months was discussed, including conducting employer surveys on attitudes toward hiring TCNs and organizing regional meetings in Sofia, Burgas, and Plovdiv. Special attention was given to preparing a labor market report and an employer’s guide to facilitate the hiring process of workers from third countries.
CEED Bulgaria will continue to play a key role in promoting employment among migrant communities by organizing informational events and creating conditions for their successful integration.
