In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 317 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, titled “On Measures for the Implementation of the Rural Entrepreneurship Development Project – Phase 2,” jointly implemented with the World Bank and the International Development Association, entrepreneurship training programs will be organized during 2025–2027 for socially vulnerable and unemployed women across the country. The training will be delivered with the support of international experts.
Within the framework of the project, activities under Subcomponent 1.4 “Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship” are currently being implemented by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED Bulgaria) and the consulting and engineering company “Annexure,” based in Tashkent.
As part of this initiative, a stakeholder meeting was held in the assembly hall of the Konlikol District Hokimiyat, where the project team met with women from the district. The purpose of the meeting was to inform local participants about the opportunities for receiving support, training, and grant funding aimed at helping them start and grow their own businesses.
