On 20 October 2026, the final conference of the project “Functionally Sustainable Migration and Integration in Bulgaria” (FSMI in Bulgaria) will take place at Grand Hotel Sofia, Triaditsa 2 Hall. The project is implemented by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development – CEED Bulgaria.
The event will highlight the key results, initiatives and experience gained throughout the project, as well as good practices in labour migration and the integration of third-country nationals in Bulgaria and the partner countries.
During the conference, participants will be introduced to the main stages of project implementation and the tools and mechanisms developed to facilitate access to the labour market. Particular attention will be given to opportunities for their sustainable use and further development beyond the project’s completion.
The conference is expected to bring together representatives of national and local authorities, international and non-governmental organisations, academia, industry associations and employers. The event will provide a platform for exchanging experience and ideas on the challenges and opportunities related to labour migration and the successful integration of the workforce in Bulgaria.
In the final stage of the project, CEED Bulgaria and BCCI continue their joint efforts to promote opportunities for legal migration and employment, improve access to the labour market and support the sustainable integration of third-country nationals. Another key priority is to raise Bulgarian employers’ awareness of the available tools and opportunities for attracting the human resources they need.
