In the period December 12-13, CEED Bulgaria hosted a meeting under project 2021-1-FI01-KA220-VET-000033149 – “New European Network for the Green Skills in Vocational Education and Training”, implemented with the financial support of the Erasmus+ Programme. The meeting was attended by representatives of all project partners: Nätverk Westum (Sweden), CAM Consulting Szolgaltato Korlatolt Felelossegu Tarsasag (Hungary), Noorderpoort (Netherlands), Savo Consortium for Education SAKKY (Finland), Cork Education and Training Board (Ireland), Samiedu (Finland), Institute of entrepreneurship development (Greece).

During the meeting, topics related to the status of the project and the achieved results were discussed. A special guest at the meeting was a representative of NAPOO (National Agency for Vocational Education and Training), who outlined the main challenges facing the Bulgarian education system, related to sustainability, green practices and skills.

The meeting was also accompanied by a visit to the “Vitosha” Nature Park, where the partners learned about interesting and useful “green” practices for teaching students at the foot of the mountain, including interesting games and challenges that enrich their knowledge of the world around them (plants, animals, soils, climate, water, ecology, etc.).
